1st Egham (United Church of Egham) Scout Group was resurrected in 2011 to provide Scouting opportunities to the young people of Egham.

Since the Group was restarted, we’ve been slowly developing, with the on-going and invaluable support of the United Church of Egham. We run Beaver Scout, Cub Scout and Scout section meetings weekly during school term time.

As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week, 1st Egham Scouts give over 50 local young people the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed. We’re talking about teamwork, leadership and resilience – skills that have helped Scouts become everything from teachers and social workers to astronauts and Olympians.
